Join us on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm at the Watertown Library in welcoming Watertown born and raised author of Visited Mom Today, John Scully.

Visited Mom Today is a beautiful, poignant and at times very humorous book drawing from the author's own personal experience caring for his mother with Alzheimer’s, offering a touching and hopeful perspective connecting with loved ones affected by dementia.

Told through heartwarming and humorous conversations with residents, Scully shows that by stepping into their world and embracing their present day reality, we can bring light to the shadows of dementia and allow for meaningful connections even in the most challenging moments.

Books will be available for purchase at the program for $20. Payments may be made by cash, credit card or Venmo.
