Meet the Author: Stu Campbell
Join us on Monday, August 7, 2023 beginning at 1:00pm at the Watertown Library when we welcome local author Stu Campbell.
Mr. Campbell will do a brief presentation on his book, Little Stuess and the Incredible Mr. Moose, a hero tale written in rhythm & rhyme with gorgeous illustrations. Meant for grade school children with lessons on being yourself, overcoming bullying, perseverance and doing the right thing, this is a story that can be read by older children and adults as well as read to younger children with equal enjoyment.
Mr. Campbell will also discuss his writing process and how his writing is informed by his work. He has several more writing projects in progress.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Mr. Campbell currently works at Crosby High School in Waterbury as a special education teacher in a self-contained behavioral program with disadvantaged youth.
A meet and greet will follow the presentation. Books will be available for sale and signing.
