Whether it's children's story time, author talks, mystery book club discussions, seasonal crafting kits, job search programs, technology instruction, movie matinees, grab-n-go bags or more - find out what's on at the library.


Storytime - Clover The Comfor Dog

Clover the Comfort Dog will be visiting Watertown Library on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am. Come say hello, hear a story and practice your reading!

Make Your Own Terrarium

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm to create your own succulent terrarium with Renee from Sacred Rhythms Homestead.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

For children ages 5+.

Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story time and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Registration is suggested.

CT Wineries

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, March 14, 2024 starting at 6:30pm when we welcome Michelle Griffis, "The Nutmeg Nose", for an informational discussion on the 40+ wineries located throughout the state!

Story Time with Mrs. Piccolo

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and special craft with Mrs. Piccolo! - children age 3 - 6.

Space is limited. Registration is suggested.

Story Time with Mrs. Baker

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy a story read by former Baldwin and John Trumbull School teacher Roberta Baker!

A craft will be offered following the reading.

Children age 3 - 6.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs. Instructor Frances Harmeyer is certified in chair yoga with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration is required.

Amazing Tales with Mike Allen

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, May 2, 2024 starting at 6:30pm when we welcome Mike Allen, host of the podcast Amazing Tales CT, for a presentation on The Battle of Charcoal Run a little known Civil War era battle that took place between Danbury and New Fairfield.

Registration is suggested.

Holiday Hours

The Watertown Library Association will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024 for Good Friday.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

No Contact Curbside Service is available for our patrons with a valid Watertown Library Card.
