Story Time With Ellen Lee

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday - August 5, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy fun stories and crafts with Ellen Lee of WHOOO Loves A Great Book?.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

For children Ages 3-6.

Learn to Play the Ukulele

Join us at the Watertown Library on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm and learn the fundamentals of ukulele playing!

Space is limited, registration is required.

August Crafts

"Adventure Begins" at the Oakville Branch Library with August Crafts for kids!

Wednesdays, August 6th, August 13th & August 20th at 11:00am.

Children Ages 6-10 accompanied by a caregiver.

Story Time with Mrs. Piccolo

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, August 20, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and special craft with Mrs. Piccolo! - children age 3 - 6.

Noah Webster: the Rise of Partisan Politics in a Divided America

Join us at the Watertown Library on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for a special presentation from the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society’s “America 250” commemoration.

After many months spent as a forceful advocate on behalf of the new Federal Constitution, Noah Webster planned to leave his teaching and political work in Philadelphia to return to Connecticut, however, a quiet, private life was not yet possible as Webster worried that political “factions,” or “parties,” would naturally contest each other for political power and control of national policies.

Registration is suggested.

Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Watertown Foundation Centennial Celebration

The Watertown Foundation is celebrating 100 years by bringing six Seward Johnson Sculptures to town!!! Festivities kick-off on August 2, 2025 at the Watertown Library.

All sculptures will remain in place through late October

Summer Hours

Watertown Library Association Summer Hours* begin May 26, 2025 and run through September 1, 2025.

*Closed on Saturdays during the Summer - Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Holiday Hours

The Watertown Library Association will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025 for Labor Day.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

Curbside Service

No Contact Curbside Service is available for our patrons with a valid Watertown Library Card.
