The Watertown Library Assocition provides informative, interactive programs and events, both in-person and virtual, across varied disciplines and interests. Whether it's children's story time, author talks, mystery book club discussions, seasonal crafting kits, job search programs, technology instruction, movie matinees, grab-n-go bags or more - find out what's on at the library.


Spring Storytime

The Oakville Branch Library is pleased to announce Spring Storytime for 2025. Wednesdays, March 12, 2025 through April 16, 2025 at 11:00am.

For Children ages 3-5 with their caregivers.

Registration is required for each date.

Irish Celebration Concert

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for for an evening of Irish ballads, well known sing-a-longs, original music, a little Gaelic, and some endearing storytelling with Irish folk singer Liz McNicholl.

Space is limited, registration is suggested.

Story Time With Ellen Lee

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy fun stories and crafts with Ellen Lee of WHOOO Loves A Great Book?.

Children Ages 3-6. Registration is required.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs. Instructor Frances Harmeyer is certified in chair yoga with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration is required.

Please Note: The program dates scheduled on February 25, 2025, March 11, 2025, and March 25, 2025 are cancelled.

Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story time and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Registration is suggested.

Story Time with Mrs. Zipoli

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and craft with Mrs. Zipoli!

Space is limited, registration is suggested.

Litter Awareness Program

Hey kids, join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm for Litter Awareness and learn how to be a planet protector - special craft included!

Space is limited, registration is required.

Children Ages 6-12.

Palace Theater Traveling Tour

Join us at the Watertown Library on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm as we travel through the historic stages of the Palace Theater from its inception, its heyday, its “seen better” days and its 21st Century renovation.

Registration is suggested.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

No Contact Curbside Service is available for our patrons with a valid Watertown Library Card.
