Whether it's children's story time, author talks, mystery book club discussions, seasonal crafting kits, job search programs, technology instruction, movie matinees, grab-n-go bags or more - find out what's on at the library.


Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Registration is suggested.

Story Time with Mrs. Piccolo

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and special craft with Mrs. Piccolo! - children age 3 - 6.

Medicare Fraud

Join us at the Watertown Library on Friday, September 26, 2025 from at 2:00pm to 3:00pm for a group discussion on the latest Medicare frauds impacting our local communities led by Margaret Guerrera, Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Volunteer from the Western CT Area Agency on Aging (WCAAA).

A Question & Answer session will follow the presentation.

Story Time with Mrs. Zipoli

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and craft with Mrs. Zipoli!

Author Rebecca Gavin brings her children’s book, The Key To Adventure, to the Watertown Library for a reading, Q&A Session and small craft from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025!

Join us on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 6:00am to 7:00pm at the Watertown Library for Be a Shark - The Secret Sauce to Winning in Life after High School with author Matthew J. Wright. A presentation providing students and their parents with numerous tips and tricks on how to be successful in college and beyond.

The Grotesque 10
Amazing Architectural Sculpture
from Ten American Colleges & Universities

Join us at the Watertown Library on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 beginning at 6:00pm for the informative and engaging presentation of The Grotesque 10: Amazing Architectural Sculpture from Ten American Colleges & Universities with photographer and author Mathew Duman.

Registration is suggested to attend.

Chair Yoga

Join us at the Watertown Library for Chair Yoga, a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs led by Certified Chair Yoga Instructor Frances Harmeyer.

Various dates are available on Tuesdays in September, October and November. All sessions run from 10:15am to 11:15am.

Registration is required.

Mandalas: Paint & Wellness Class

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, October 16, 2025 starting at 6:00pm and step into the world of mandalas with this beginner-friendly dot-painting class.

Watertown Foundation Centennial Celebration

The Watertown Foundation is celebrating 100 years by bringing six Seward Johnson Sculptures to town!!! Festivities kick-off on August 2, 2025 at the Watertown Library.

All sculptures will remain in place through late October

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!
