The Watertown Library Assocition provides informative, interactive programs and events, both in-person and virtual, across varied disciplines and interests. Whether it's children's story time, author talks, mystery book club discussions, seasonal crafting kits, job search programs, technology instruction, movie matinees, grab-n-go bags or more - find out what's on at the library.


Story Time with Mrs. Baker

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy a story read by former Baldwin and John Trumbull School teacher Roberta Baker!

A craft will be offered following the reading.

Children age 3 - 6.

Story Time & Craft

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy a story read by former teacher and reading instructor Ellen Lee.

A special craft will be offered following the reading.

Children Ages 3-6. Registration is required.

Gardening with Tovah Martin

Join us on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the Watertown Library when we welcome horticulturalist, and leading gardening author Tovah Martin for her newest lecture: Issues & Answers, Harnessing Plants to Solve Problems.

Allied Invasion of Normandy

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, June 6, 2024 starting at 6:00pm when we welcome historian and author John Cilio for an enlightening presentation on the Normandy Invasion of WWII.

Registration is suggested.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs. Instructor Frances Harmeyer is certified in chair yoga with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration is required.

Holiday Hours

The Watertown Library Association will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024 for Memorial Day.

Summer Hours

Watertown Library Association Summer Hours* begin June 1, 2024 and run through August 31, 2024.

*Closed on Saturdays during the Summer.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

Curbside Service

No Contact Curbside Service is available for our patrons with a valid Watertown Library Card.

Grab-N-Go Bags

Individualized Grab-N-Go Bags of children's books available at Watertown Library!
