Around Every Corner of Connecticut
The Friends of the Watertown Library Association invite you to join us on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Watertown Library for an evening with WTNH Travel Reporter Sarah Cody who will be discussing her book, Around Every Corner of Connecticut: 100 Towns to Explore Every Season which celebrates the abundance of wonder and beauty throughout this great state..
Using information gathered over her 20 years of travel reporting, Sarah takes you to her favorite spots on and off the beaten path. Filled with valuable tips and stunning photographs, the book provides activities and destinations for everyone.
Sarah's love of the state began when she was a student at Trinity College in Hartford. As her two sons grew, she took great pride in showing them every park, museum and attraction in sight. This three-time Emmy Award winner loves photography, reading and hiking with her rescue dogs. Sarah and her husband have raised their family near the Connecticut River and enjoy afternoons on their sailboat, looking for bald eagles and tree swallows. This book is the heartfelt culmination of her professional and personal adventures throughout the region.
This event is open to all ages in the Woodward Atrium at the Watertown Library.
A book signing will follow the presentation. Copies will be available to purchase at the program.
