Carousel Museum Scribble Bots

Join us on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Watertown Library for a hands-on STEAM activity with the Carousel Museum and their Scribble Bots!

Why is a carousel built the way it is? What would happen if all the horses were on one side of the ride? The Carousel Museum's Scribble Bot activity delves into the mechanics of carousel motion.

Participants in this program will learn about direction and balanceand power. Using a plastic cup for a body, magic markers for legs anda small motorized component, participants will create a small robot that moves and scribbles along its path!

All supplies are included. Scribble Bots are a take home item for all attendees.

For children ages ages 7-12.

Space is limited. Registration is required.
